You are missing the point big time. You don't need a number 1 receiver to win in this league. There has only been ONE Super Bowl champion this decade that had a true legitimate number 1 receiver and that was the Colts.

You need guys who know how to run routes, guys who can CATCH the ball, guys who don't take plays off, guys that don't run to Deion Sanders or Stephen A Smith to whine about not getting the ball whether his team wins or loses.

We also have the potential to have a very good if not great running game with 3 more than capable running backs. We have one of the best tight ends in the league. You don't win in this league because you have a number 1 receiver. You win as a team with everyone having a common goal and getting along together.

By releasing this knuckle head BlOwens! I don't care what anyone says this is addition by subtraction, this is the BEST move Jerry could make for this team to be a team in the future. Now Jerry go get a REAL head coach with a REAL coaching staff and stay outta the way! If he does that I will believe once again this owner really wants to win. Today was a good start though!

Why did he get exteneded. He could have put up those numbers and played out his contract this year. That is a lot of dead cap money, with Owens, Henry, Brad Johnson, and maybe Roy Williams about to get released. I want to hear this from the team.
