Cowboys release TO *Merged*

I hope he goes to a team with a stud QB so he can wing the rings he deserves, maybe win a bowl or two.

I'm talking about this years NFC Championship, which is what I believe the discussion was about. Not the Superbowl against the Patriots.

Thus why the guy I quoted said "IF TO were on that roster".

I did mention the NFC Championship game. I said The Eagles "D" didn't show up and McNabb didn't do what was necessary to win the game in the 4th quarter. The only time you score plenty points to win is when you win.

TO deserves nothing until he learns what being a "team player" means, rather than some "I love me some me"!!

Let's say TO joins the Raiders, scores a TD on Thanksgiving Day, runs to the midfield star and strikes a pose. Who on this current team would you like to see crush him?

Folks if that happened, and Romo came off the bench to smack him, I'd remember that day fondly for the rest of my life. I'd want Jerry to put Romo in the Ring of Honor for that act alone.

Carpenter, if he's still on the roster! The guy needs to do something to save his rep!

And who'd actually do it?

No one.

The defense plays a major role in rather or not your offense has scored enough points.

McNabb turned it on and got the team back into the game in the second half after the team was down like 24-7 at the half. In fact the majority of the comeback came very late in the 3rd and into the 4th.

McNabb was hardly the reason the team didn't win. 60% completion, 375 yards and 3 TDs against 1 INT tells me that McNabb did quite a bit with not a whole lot to throw to. I doubt that his stats would have been any better than that with TO there.

Carp couldn't crush an empty Coke can.

After releasing Terrell Owens, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the wide receiver is a "natural leader" a "dedicated, hard worker" and did "everything I asked."
Jones also said that if T.O. had a resume, the Cowboys owner would be his top reference. So why was he released? Jones called it a "strategic decision" involving the salary cap, the aging roster, and the other receivers. He also noted that giving Roy Williams a chance to be the No. 1 receiver was a "significant factor." Jones can praise T.O. til the cows come home, but his actions speak louder than his words.

Hey, Mattel just came out with tattoo Barbie, so there's still hope he butches up.

Damn that Roy Williams move, damn it to hell.

Romo doesn't get hurt, Jerry doesn't get impulsive and doesn't give up picks for a bum.

One guy scored 38 TDs here in 3 years. The other guy, 10 games 189 yards and overinflated stats from a pass-happy team that always played from behind. He also *****ed and moaned just as much as any of our other guys.

Owens is a scape goat, nothing more nothing less.

44-6.
