Damn that Roy Williams move, damn it to hell.

Romo doesn't get hurt, Jerry doesn't get impulsive and doesn't give up picks for a bum.

One guy scored 38 TDs here in 3 years. The other guy, 10 games 189 yards and overinflated stats from a pass-happy team that always played from behind. He also *****ed and moaned just as much as any of our other guys.

Owens is a scape goat, nothing more nothing less.

44-6.

I'd say Mutt is a little closer.

The eagles went to the super bowl while owens was on the roster they haven't been back since.

Two playoff wins to get there without him.

Then he plays in the Super Bowl and they lose.

Great point.

After releasing Terrell Owens, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the wide receiver is a "natural leader" a "dedicated, hard worker" and did "everything I asked."
Jones also said that if T.O. had a resume, the Cowboys owner would be his top reference. So why was he released? Jones called it a "strategic decision" involving the salary cap, the aging roster, and the other receivers. He also noted that giving Roy Williams a chance to be the No. 1 receiver was a "significant factor." Jones can praise T.O. til the cows come home, but his actions speak louder than his words.

Sounds about right to me.

TO is one damn good player, but age and future building towards youth does not sound so bad to me.

Of course, Jerry is da debil...!

:nana:

On the plus side, this will free up 10M or so in cap room next offseason.

Maybe we can finally get an OLB opposite of Ware?

Well, everyone has their place in life...so this is his third goat time.

So, I have been wondering...

If anyone ever made an "unappealing" comment about Terrell Owens during the past three years, the customary reply has usually been something like, "He's a Dallas Cowboy now. Get over it already. Yada yada yada."

Okay.

He has been released. So, do folks automatically get to say, "He's not a Dallas Cowboy now. Get over it already. Yada yada yada" for the next three years or what..

Just curious. Scout's honor. :)

Who's Terrell Owens?

How ya doin', buddy?

Pretty good man. :) I deserve to be ridiculed a bit but, as I have stated before, it has always been about the Boys with me. Period. I like TO and enjoyed his performance while he wore the star. It's time to move on. I'm not sure where we're moving on to but apparently someone has a plan. Yet still, the kindergarten coaching staff lives to loaf another year.

For three different teams. Amazing.
