The eagles went to the super bowl while owens was on the roster they haven't been back since.

Two playoff wins to get there without him.

After releasing Terrell Owens, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the wide receiver is a "natural leader" a "dedicated, hard worker" and did "everything I asked."
Jones also said that if T.O. had a resume, the Cowboys owner would be his top reference. So why was he released? Jones called it a "strategic decision" involving the salary cap, the aging roster, and the other receivers. He also noted that giving Roy Williams a chance to be the No. 1 receiver was a "significant factor." Jones can praise T.O. til the cows come home, but his actions speak louder than his words.

TO is one damn good player, but age and future building towards youth does not sound so bad to me.

Pretty good man. I deserve to be ridiculed a bit but, as I have stated before, it has always been about the Boys with me. Period. I like TO and enjoyed his performance while he wore the star. It's time to move on. I'm not sure where we're moving on to but apparently someone has a plan. Yet still, the kindergarten coaching staff lives to loaf another year.
