Quick first step, nice punch.

Poor change of direction and no anchor.

He has been front and center with what is wrong with our run defense.

Let’s see what happens. If Quinn is high on him then I will wait.

Jerry and Stephen are way to optimistic on these players they drafted too early who turn out be no more than serviceable. Next thing you know, they will give him an 8 figure/year deal and think they got a bargain on a dude who is only good for situational work @12 plays/game.

Wow. This is surprising. I thought DTs playing on roller skates was a bad thing????

I don’t think the Cowboys FO knows the definition of “ascending”…they certainly used the wrong word here…it’s “descending”…that’s the word the FO should have used.

This is stupid stuff. And I don't mean by the team.
Gallimore is on the last year of his deal with no GTD money.
If he is released now it buys you about 2M cap space but nothing else.

The team would be goofy to release him now.
You add free agents, conduct a draft and get to Camp.
If he is locked and loaded for a top-notch contract year he makes the team.
If not he gets released as roster gets finalized freeing up your 2M then.

I had hoped that he would breakout last season and the opposite occured. He regressed to a large degree.

If he was special then he would have displayed that by now. DT is one of those positions where you know what you have in a player almost instantly

Looking at the Cowboys championship history, one of the things they all had in common was a serious commitment to bringing elite DT 's to their defense.

Guys like Bob Lilly, Randy White, John Dutton, Russel Maryland and Tony Casilles were all drafted in the top ten overall. This Cowboys team need to make a comparable commitment. They should dedicate their next two 1st round picks to building a formidable squad of DT's Perhaps they could make a serious free agent commitment to a present recognized talent at the position. The opportunity would be rare, however. Teams tend to keep those guys.

Every DT drafted in the 1st round since 2015 is still playing in the NFL

Just the Joneses justifying all their draft picks on offense attempting to salvage the golden child's career.
There will be net loss of talent for Quinn this year and high expectations
The train wreck never ends

Not sure where this is coming from but I think they’re about as high on Gallimore as the Mariana Trench.
