I like Alshon but I don't think he's worth a 1st round for a one year rental and I don't think the Cowboys want to invest much in a 2nd receiver with Dez on the team. Not after the whole Roy Williams fiasco.

I think we're missing a receiver more than we are running back right now to be honest. If anything Mcfadden and Randle need more carries or even Dunbar.

Agreed. No player is worth a first for a one year rental....I would not see the asking price being a 1st round pick. Players just don't have much trade value in the free agent days.
My gut tells me the Bears would want to keep him and try to resign him after the season. He is young and would probably command more money than we could justify spending in free agency for him.

Yes, I don't buy it. His salary is 7M and the Cowboys didn't want to pay Murray over 6M.

Big difference is that Forte has only one year left on his deal. Dallas didn't want to make a long term commitment to Murray. They probably wouldhave tagged him if not fkr Bryant

Big difference is that we didnt keep Murray because we didnt wantto pay him long term what the Eagles offered. Forte is a FA at the end of the year
