Cowboys reporters saying what Broncos fans heard about Javonte Williams

Interesting info/commentary about Javonte Williams. One of the most interesting things to me is that the writer says the Broncos ranked No. 1 in run-block win rate.

Yeah that ranking has been questioned on this site. Im not sure where it come from.

The fact is none of their backs ran consistently well. Perine was pretty solid the year before he went to Denver. They supposedly loved Estime and the Mclaughlin was only good in sports.

I think there was more wrong than Javonte alone.

There should be zero Cowboys fans surprised if Williams is a turd.

Let's call his signing what it was - a hail mary, cheap, reclamation project that this front office is famous for and often just ends up fizzling out.

History should tell you his signing will likely not amount to much.

The thing is though….this is a guy who had a solid rookie campaign and is only 24…..the resume is a little different then what they’ve done in past years.

McGahee is one of the few I've seen recover completely from blowing out his knee. Absolutely gruesome injury in college, went on to become a topnotch NFL RB.
I would not say top notch but a good runner and serviceable back. From what I heard when he was in baltimore most of his issues were between the ears.

You sure type a lot to say nothing lol.
I stated facts (stats) you're talking about coaches that wasn't the point. Zeke stole TDs from Rico, and to attempt to discredit Rico w/o mentioning Zeke was the goalline RB is bias imho.
Actually, I said more than you, here let me let me spell it out for you,

again,

you're not a professional, you don't make the choices, and I'll trust the coach's choice ,the front office choice, the fact that they let him go there was good reason for it, they thought the same thing I think,

you got it... Let that sink in what you're asking for can't happen because they already let him go but you think your choice is better than theirs that makes you an eagle maniacal pain in the rear end, it means nothing now...

By the way, I don't type I talk to text but again you're not getting your way they all fall into I'm right because that's what they made a move i actually agree with,

You lose... But hey you're more than welcome to put him on your fantasy football team because he's going to rack you up all kinds of points oh wait a minute let's check his fantasy points...

I bet I can't scroll past I don't know the second page maybe when I find him guy is not dynamic, he's easily replaceable, I said everything because I'm in agreement with Those that know better....

If he doesn't work out and Sanders is washed, we could be screwed. Or it could at least hurt. It makes me a tad nervous.

But we should be able to find a decent runner if that happens. I think it was a mistake to take Shemar James over Devin Neal but we shall see.
Yeah, the RB room has a lot of “if’s” surrounding it and in order to win consistently, teams need an effective running game.

Very odd story. It really doesn't say anything. We all know Williams wasn't great the last couple of years and we all know that the hope that he will be better is rooted in it being another year removed from his really bad injury, This is because even on the day of the injury everyone knew would take a while to bounce back and also because he just turned 25 in April. So that is why the last two years, while not meaningless, are hopefully not indicators of this upcoming season.

Just like with Trey Lance. When a really good coach gives up on a player that just tells me the player just doesn't have it.
It's kind of different when the player is a free agent. It means a lot more when they let a guy go that is under contract.

Dallas paid a small contract...it really carries minimal risk.

That is interesting, and very funny because people have posted over and over that Williams didn't have good blocking in Denver.

Im not confident about williams making it to the end of the year injury free. We have one of if not the worst medical/rehab departments in the league.

Estime and McLaughlin both averaged more than 4.0, though, and McLaughlin had almost as many carries as Williams. So even if the line wasn't great, the other two backs were better behind it.
