Without Dak Kellen Moore has looked lost as an offensive coordinator.

His offensive ranks without Dak are as follows.

18th total
13th passing (With a better QB in Herbert)

Passing with the eagles 29th in the NFL.

Total offense is 8th thanks to saquon and an incredible OL.

You people need to stop with this. Moore is not good and hasn’t been since he left Dallas.

Dallas doesn’t have Saquon to mask his inefficiency in coordinating a passing attack that’s relevant.

The Eagles think very highly of Moore, and they are a far better managed team than Dallas. They wasted no time in hiring him. Of course the Eagles clobbered Dallas twice, and are in the playoffs while Dallas licks its wounds. I agree that Herbert is a better QB than Dak, but that was a disastrous situation with the Chargers. One cannot put too much value on that. The Eagles certainly didn't.

And herein lies the issue with Kellen Moore. The Cowboys are set up as a pass-pass-pass offense with an abysmal running game. It'll take big changes to undo the last several years scheme and personnel around it. As we've seen the last several years, the lack of a decent-to-good running game left the offense vulnerable.

The Eagles scored 21 touchdowns in the air. Trust me. Its not Moore. That team is built around the trenches and a fantastic run game. Which hides a lot of warts of Kellen moores offensive philosophy. There is a reason he was gone quickly in LA. He made Herbert look bad.

Clarence Hill and Jesse Holley both said they have heard from different sources that Kellen is already calling around gauging interest from coaches in an effort to build a staff. Some were former Cowboys coaches.
