Signed by Cowboys Cowboys restructure Prescott contract

Not trying to start something here.. an honest question coz Im not sure.

If Jerry had let Dak play out his contract and not re-signed him...

Would Dak get a fat contract now?

The team will be much weaker due to this move. At the moment we have ZERO NFL callibre QBs under contract. How do we play without a QB?
I.... think you might be a bit slow. How in what world is Dak not a NFL "caliber" QB? Yes, he isn't a top QB in the league, but he is still is a NFL player and one of the top at his game compared to all the others who are on a roster that play QB in professional football sports leagues.

No he is not worth 60m a year, but he still is one of the top 32 QB's in the country to play the position.

Me slow? Surely you can see that Dak is done. Sometimes players get to the stage where they cant play any more. No amount of wishful thinking will change that. No way that in 2025 he is in the top 32 QBs in football.

You said they have NO NFL caliber QB. I just countered that saying Dak is still a NFL caliber QB. I can without a doubt say he is one of the best 32 NFL QB's in the a professional football league. Maybe not top 10 or top 20 but still one of the best in the world at the position.
