Cowboys Roster Moves: Believe It Or Not, The Sanchez Move Makes Sense

Sanchez is essentially our 3rd stringer. I don't get why so many out there are making a big deal about this move. We lost our starter. Dak is now pushed to the 1 spot. If our season gets to the point where we are on the 3rd guy in the depth chart, then the season is in bad shape anyways. By some people's comments, it is like we either signed this guy as a starter or gave up assets to get him. They just wanted someone who has been in this league for awhile. Who else was out there as of now? We sure were not going to give up a king's ransom for Bradford, which is worse than Sanchez to me. Or at least on equal footing.

At that point, I didn't care who they picked to be Dak's backup. You were not going to get any quality there no matter whom you picked.

BTB literally likes every move Dallas makes.

I mean, I'm an optimist too but they act like even the smallest things are brilliance. I can't read much from them anymore.

BTW, I did like the Sanchez move for a second/third string guy.

Lol. Sanchez is arguably the best backup we've had since Orton. He is actually on Orton's level IMO. I hope we never see him. But the Tanny's, Showers, Vaughn's of the world?? Blahh

I might remind everyone Sanchez beat us on 9/11 with the Jets and killed us on Turkey day a couple of years ago.

How does that help us now?

Sanchez is the definition of a backup quarterback. Murray might have been good but he doesn't have any real NFL experience. It's like people want a perennial pro bowler as their backup.

Sanchez is cuter than Romo. Not going to be good for Tony's lady fans. I see a controversy... Who would Inez pick..

If you're complaining about the Sanchez signing then I have no choice but to question your football acumen.

No idea why people are complaning about this. I wanted him as the back up 2 years ago.

Way better than cassel or weedun

He should be able to handle things better behind our line, and may actually give us something insight wise on the O side now having worked with Chip Kellys fast paced O, and under the Broncos - Manning system....

Agree. They are becoming the TMZ of the sports blogs with the headline being the attention grabber, and not a lot of meat in the analysis. This site beats them outright in that regard by the back and forth between posters, and the various links we can use to further enhance our knowledge.
