The thing about conspiracies is that you guys never have a motive. A reason. Why on earth has the team that brings in more money then anyone not made a SB in 30’years?

I think this is a reasonably fair assessment of the Cowboys in 2025. I disagree with some comments about the 2024 defense though. It was not just the Micah Parsons injury. They were banged up at CB and were playing some pretty awful backups to backups that really hurt them. And it wasn't just losing Quinn either. The Cowboys defense got pummeled by the Packer with Quinn.

The one thing I think is that every year no one knows what any team will look like when the season starts. Like the Cowboys in 2024, teams will suffer injuries and have to play backups. That changes everything. If Washington loses Daniels to injury, does anyone think they won't lose some games as a result? Also, some players who had career years in 2024 will not be able to repeat those years in 2025. Will Saquon Barkley rush for 2000 yards again? No player in NFL history has rushed for 2000 yards twice, let alone in consecutive years.

One thing we can be certain of is not everything we expect will come to fruition.

At this point it's no longer a drought.
This is a different franchise from the one before. There is no use in these players pretending that they belong to the franchise that was once the greatest franchise in sports. These guys don't know what it was like.
If this Cowboys team won a Super Bowl it would be their first.
 
There's bad officiating to be sure, but there's no conspiracy.
Put away your tin foil hats.

The Cowboys already are a cash cow. There is more opportunity in raising lesser franchises than there is in milking a little bit more out of a franchise that's already filling the bulk tank.
 
I really started struggling with the "drought" a few years back. Reality hit me like a throat punch when GB came to Dallas and just put a complete butt kicking on the Boys I haven't seen in a very long time. That game changed it for me. I'm still a fan and that will never change. I do not see a SB or SB win under the current ownership. That pain is real my friends.

Cowboys as a SB winner would make the league even more money…them even getting to a NFC championship would…had no idea we had this many tin foil hat guys on this site…why would you even support or watch the Cowboys if you thought this?

Did I say I thought that? No. I didn't. I just answered your question re why they wouldn't necessarily elevate the Cowboys.

The Cowboys already make money. People are going to watch the playoffs no matter who is involved. It makes more sense to tap into markets with more room to grow revenue.

I don't believe outcomes are predetermined but any time there is so much fortune involved there is going to be some level of shenanigans taking place. Especially with gambling in the picture. You'd have to be wearing a tinfoil hat to not understand this basic facet of human nature.

There's no question but what this team might accomplish in the future is difficult to predict with any degree of accuracy to be relied upon. I'd feel significantly more confident in our ability to become a Super Bowl candidate if RBs Williams and/or Sanders were backups, rather than the starters. A timely healing of our walking wounded would work wonders. That's always a possibility, too.

I'm hoping, desperately, that a promising RB might be a late addition once the final cuts are made. Of course, it could also be a surprise bonus if Mafah turns out to be a reliable starter. Sometimes, luck plays an unexpected role that leads to greater performance. That'd be a real blessing, no doubt.

So if you don’t believe it why in the hell did you reply to my post that was in response to someone who does think it?

So why are the Jags and Browns not in the playoffs or SB every year? Why do these save trash teams on smaller markets always suck?

The Buffalo Bills rank 32 in annual revenue….in the playoffs ever year…..

Right down there with Cardinals, Jags and Browns….why are they not doing more?

Holy cow. I replied to a single question you asked. I quoted that single question in my reply. Not sure why this is confusing you so much and why you're trying to make it something it's not.

3 of the 5 lowest revenue ranked teams, the Bills, Bengals and Lions are all legitimate contenders with recent success going deep in the playoffs. They have much more growth potential than the Cowboys and their already massive share of the market. Doesn't it make sense that pushing the product with the most growth potential gives you the best potential for growth?

They can suck the Cowboys fanbase and haters dry with featured games in the regular season and try and build up lesser bases with the hope that some playoff success brings.

I guarantee you that whether they actively try and do that or not, it's been thought of.

Its not hard to understand.

NFL gets the best of both worlds with the Cowboys.

TV ratings thru the roof on most primetime games, highest playoff game viewership no matter who they play, and if they dont make it to the SB they have already milked the cow.
 
The assessment is that this article can be republished again with minimal changes other than Jerry's age in 2026 and in 2027 and in 2028 and in 2029 and ..........
