Same can be said about us continually going there over the last 5 years.
Huh?

2016 - Road game vs GB
2017 - Home game vs GB
2018 - Did not play
2019 - Home game vs GB
2020 - Did not play
2021 - Did not play
2022 - Road game vs GB
2023 - Do not play

Am I missing a game in there somewhere? Even if so it doesn't seem lopsided.

So tell me again why the team that went to the Super Bowl gets Miami, Buffalo, and SF at home and we have all these on the road? Does it matter to the schedule makers where you play these out of Division games or that all teams just play them? If the location does not matter, and it's simply that you just play them, I think we are purposely getting screwed on having the HIGH majority of the great teams on the road. Something stinks here, because Philly's schedule sets up WAY easier than ours! BTW, I'm not just whining to whine....I've notice this for years.
It's all determined by formula. All of it. If Dallas had won the division, they would have the exact schedule the Eagles have and the Eagles would have the second-place schedule (including home and away) that Dallas has now.

The only human involvement (once the formula was established) is determining WHEN the games are played during the season. The WHO and WHERE are determined by the formula.

It really doesn't matter. If everyone can stay healthy with minor concerns, Look out! its early however.
..that's it, Bingo. With this team, doesnt matter who we play.

Staying healthy, is the longevity of the season and success.

The home and away games are all set seasons in advance.

The reason why Philly plays Miami ans Buffalo at home is because 4 years ago they played them on the road. The reason why they play SF at home is because they played them 3 years ago on the road.

The schedule isn't decided based on who went to the superbowl. How can you be a fan of football and not know how the schedule rotation

My question is...why can't someone ask a simple question to fellow Cowboys fans without getting sparked on?

Maybe just help a brother out and answer his question?

I’m all fine with giving posters grace but this exact post was made a couple weeks ago and the poster just ignored the common sense answer.
It would be great if in cases like this, the factual answer could be added to the top of the thread. Because what we usually see (and is common on social media in general) is that the facts get buried and those who don't know the facts keep responding to the initial unfactual post.

He didn’t ask a simple question. He made silly accusations and complaints that has been explained multiple times over the last several months. At some point people need to get out of there emotions and actually listen to facts

This question was answered repeatedly to this very same poster in an almost identical thread started not even 10 days ago, hence the annoyance. Conspiracy only knows conspiracy even when confronted with the truth.

You'd be a lot less frustrated if you researched how NFL schedules are created. Who you play, and where, next season is known as soon as the regular season ends.

The only things that are determined later are what date and time the games will take place, and which network/service will broadcast them.

I’ll make this simple like I did last week when you asked the same question. We played all those teams at home the last time we played them in the regular season now we play them on the road. See it’s simple
