Cowboys seemingly wanted less by top broadcast crews

Don't worry, 2025, Dallas will still be on 3 SNF games, a MNF game, T-Day game, and a TNF game. Plus what would seem to be key match ups on the Sunday afternoon late national game.
Look for them to possibly one of the Christmas Day games.
Yep, back to business.

Volunteering to play 3 games in 11 days is unbelievably stupid and we wonder why we collapse in December.

This year it was 3 games in 10 days. They played a Monday night before the Sunday game before T-Day.
Then the NFL claims they are about player safety.

A few years back they played 4 games in 18 days. Actually they did that for 3 years in a row. One game being.

I don't mind the 3 games in 11 days. As for many teams with TNF, it happens to about all teams. But they need to look at bye weeks within some of these games to alleviate that. Then they will claim uncompetitive advantage stuff. While ignoring player safety.

I get it. I remember when Crimson and Clover was the #1 song in the country for a million weeks in a row. The radio stations played the song over and over and even invented the "double play" where they would play a song back to back just to play C & C a second time it was so popular. Then people got sick of it.

But at the same time, the Cowboys are coming off 3 consecutive 12-5 seasons, 2 division titles and 3 playoff appearances. They are having an off year. It happens.

It's funny, the 49ers are struggling too. They have a worse record than Dallas. I don't hear the same kind of nonsense about them we hear about Dallas. I would argue the 49ers in some ways are a bigger mess than Dallas.
The 49ers earned some grace by making it to the Super Bowl last year. If Dallas had done that, everyone would be blaming this season strictly on the injuries. Since we got manhandled in the playoffs last year, everyone is blaming this season on mismanagement.

Yet, the same network decided to make their game a nationally televised game only two markets not showing the game) instead of spreading the other games over more markets. Given the season they had justifies the flexing of this game..but they are still a bigger draw as a losing team vs majority of other teams.
Right. Ratings are the main thing that matters. Late in the season, networks obviously want to highlight the games that have playoff indications but Dallas isn't going away as a ratings draw.
