Some thoughts from someone that's watched the kid his entire career....

Converted high school QB that made himself into a two year starter. The state of Florida is LOADED at DB, so if you can start for two years at FSU you as a CB, you have talent. Was fantastic playing alongside Ramsey two years ago. Not quite as productive last year and I'm sure he didn't get as much help, though T McFadden who started on the opposite side will likely be a first rounder next year. He's athletic, long with decent speed. He's shown the ability to set the edge as a CB, but not as well last year....don't know why, maybe Ramsey demanded it.

He has a chance, but man that's a lot of DBs in one draft.

We are bringing this many secondary players into camp this year to - surprise! - COMPETE TO REPLACE THEM.

OF COURSE they aren't planning on all 11 or 12 of these guys making the squad. Somebody's getting cut.

The plan is, bring enough talented young guys in and put them through the paces, figure out who plays the best in Marinelli's scheme and put together the best unit possible then cut the guys who don't make it.
