Drafted by Cowboys Cowboys Select Jay Toia, DT UCLA

Anybody have a good read on this defensive tackle I mean I don't know who he is but he looks big that's for damn sure he looks like a straight up nose tackle pure nose tackle..

Overview​

Three-year starter with the build and mentality to play nose tackle in odd or even fronts. Toia carries a girthy base and is heavy into first contact. He has the power to give good resistance against all forms of blocks that come his way but a lack of length makes him more of a space eater than a block beater. He pummels single-block protection with violent club moves for sporadic pressures but is unlikely to get home. He’ll need to improve his block recognition and fine-tune his take-on to be his best version of a two-down run defender.

But is he better than Justin Rogers because we got a big dude back we haven't got to see play yet is he better than Mazi?
 
Ain't not bad in day three we got one of the fastest running backs we've ever had now we got one of the biggest dudes that I think has ever played for the Dallas Cowboys maybe not 341 maybe as a defensive lineman biggest defensive lineman I've ever seen... I haven't looked at Justin Rogers stats but I have some hope for him as well people forget about him he's back on this team..
 
I remember everyone fawning over that big NT we drafted in the 7th round a few years ago from Kentucky. Bohannon or something like that. I hope this dude can actually be that trash can full of dirt.

We do this just about every year. Last year it was Justin Rogers (round 7). The year before it was Mazi Smith (round 1). Two years before him was John Ridgeway III (round 5) and the year before him was Quinton Bohanna (round 6). And both of the two years before him were Gallimore/Hill before we stared going the nose tackle route. Point being, we clearly suck at drafting nose tackles. Hopefully this guy is different but I'd be shocked if he's any good.

IF this guy can just stand his ground; not give way then he is going to see a fair number of snaps
