I can't complain he was the highest rated player on most boards that was still out there. Not worried about defense there are still a lot of top players who will be there in the 2nd. I don't think you can pass on a player who is rated as highly as Lamb

That’s silly.

So the Cowboys would have walked into the draft with no #1 and just presumed a guy like Lamb would be available.

This is one of the strongest WR drafts in recent memory. Like I said they would’ve walked into the draft and took the best receiver available at 17 or in the second round. They didn’t make Amari the highest paid receiver in the league to move on after two years. Signing him cost the team Byron Jones. They were looking long-term with him.
