So I'm sure most of us have seen the commercials on NFL network with Michael Irvin that go against buying counterfeit/chinese/taiwanese/etc jerseys as opposed to official ones. And I'm sure it is costing them some money as I know a ton of people who buy their jerseys from aliexpress for under $25 (myself included a couple times, just to see what they're like), but their shops online, for a league as massive as the NFL, leaves alot to be desired.

For the Cowboys in particular, I was willing to spend some money to get a nice, official jersey or two for the upcoming season (and for my buddy too who's a massive fan but doesn't have the funds to get an official shirt). When I checked both sites, the only options they had for embroided jerseys were Romo, Witten, Lee, Dez, Murray and for some reasons multiple variations of Miles Austins (really? Its been more than a year since he was cut and he was never a legend or anything here) which was at a 'sale' price of $65ish. However I was looking to get a Frederick one for myself and a Zach Martin one for my buddy, but the only option is an overpriced 'custom' jersey with screen print names/numbers, something that looks very cheap and I wanted to avoid. So two young, pro-bowl players on our teams don't even have an actual jersey on the website. Neither did Hardy, our biggest off-season aquisition in a decade.

So my options if I want the player jersey of my choice is to get a screen print jersey (not even a Nike one, but some other variation) for $140ish CDN....there is no option for me to get an embroided one. And the only way to get that is through aliexpress/counterfeit, and it'll probably cost me about $30 at most. If the NFL doesn't want people to buy fake, they should atleast offer the abililty to buy a non screenprint version on their websites. This sort of 'store' would be acceptable for the CFL, not a mutli-billion dollar empire like the NFL.

Do yourself a favor and just buy the gear the players wear in practice and on the sidelines. Save yourself a ton of money. For the price of one jersey you could get 2-3 new t-shirts or a hoodie that will last you long after the player is cut, traded, or retired.

Yeah, I avoid NFLShop like the plague. They have some cool stuff, but shipping takes for freaking ever. I stick with the Cowboys shop for hats, shirts and such. For jerseys, give me eBay any old day. I only buy 'safe' players: Romo, Witten and guys who retired Cowboys. Last season I went out on a limb and bought a throwback Dez.

If you think that is bad. I live in Toronto. They had a hat sale not to long ago on dallas cowboys.com. the hat was 14 dollars. The shipping was 75 dollars. Now tell me who in their right mind came up with that idea. 75 dollars to ship a hat? 100 plus tax for a hat. It's ridiculous

I do all mein shopping at the flea markets. why just the udder day I bought me a Sean Lee jersey worn by him at gametime and only used once.
I kid off course. NFL puts a surcharge on all its products to keep them out of the hands of the middle class and the lower classes who are too busy working to be fans anyway.

The pro sports team merchandise is so over priced, for the most part I only buy it when it goes on sale, if I buy it at all anymore. I probably buy one hat a year and one t-shirt. I stopped buying jerseys as the player seems to be gone in 3 to 4 years.

Likely people who used to be military contractors. Want to buy a gallon of green paint? Fork up $89! Need a shower curtain? Only $30! We are all in the wrong bidiness my fiends, we should be military contractors and NFL merchants.

Yea, I'm cursed when it came to jerseys, minus my Witten ones.

Authentic Roy Williams (31): Starts to suck
Dat Nguyen jersey: messes up his neck the following year.
Romo jersey: gets injured against the Giants the following week
Newman jersey: gets cut at the end of the year.

God forbid if I were to buy a Lee jersey.

I usually get my authentic jerseys from eBay. Always make sure it's 100% authentic and I'm good to go. But I have a cowboys MasterCard from NFL shop so I gat 20% off everything anytime I usually go to them for a bunch. I will say lately I've been on a hat kick. New era recently has been embroiding signature on hats. So I brought my bca from This past year and got romo and witten on it. Love it. It's different and stands out. I'll post pic later.

You think the NFL listens to the average fan.
The owners will only listen when the TV ratings go down and their income flow goes in reverse.
They do listen to the average fan in regards to jerseys. The avg fan don't want no O lineman jersey are you kidding me lol?

Honestly it seems like you didn't even look and or the actual cowboys site doesn't deliver to canada because I went on there and saw the Nike customized screen print jersey. They don't have the stitched one unless you get the authentic but screen print nike one yes. Also like I said to the poster above most fans aren't buying an O lineman jersey anyway so why make a jersey that maybe 5% of people would buy. Anybody that's been to games of any team and or even just out and about can tell you the top jerseys you see people wearing usually aren't of no O Lineman.

Sure, don't buy an olineman if you don't want to (I prefer not getting the same jersey as everyone else) . But guess what, you can't get an embroided Hardy, McClain, Hitchens, Williams, Crawford, Church, etc jersey either. Like I mentioned in my post, I don't want a cheap screen print jersey, because on those even the star on the blue jersey is a sticker, and it looks awful, especially if I'm paying $150 cdn with shipping

They do offer any player on the roster in the stitched Nike Elite(on field, game jersey)

You can pick any player on the roster.

I have sold jerseys from Reebok and Nike for a loving for the past 8 years through my company at work. It is not uncommon for teams to only carry 3-4 players in the Limited and Elite embroidered styles. And then to carry way more options in screen print. That happens league wide. They give you the option to pick any player on the roster for Elite (on field jersey) and Game(screen print replica)

Check out this guy on Facebook. I ordered a Randy White and Andrew Luck jersey from him. They are legit embroidered jerseys. Has practically any NFL jersey you want and some from other sports. They are the Nike jerseys as well. I believe they are $60 per

all of his jerseys are in his photo albums and then just direct message him.
