Cowboys should have torched the Niners also

Well, I got myself banned from the 9ers board after congratulating them for joining the ranks of Eagles' fans in terms of class.

As if you would know one way or the other.

Nevermind that we've seen this same QB and offense tank just like that every time in the big games. There's no conceivable reason why they would have beaten the Niners is more like it!

It's like fans have amnesia. This goes all the way to the Romo days. It goes back to the days with 13 Pro Bowlers.

Let me say it louder for the people in the back. The playoffs represent the best teams, coaches and gameplans. The Garrett/Moore era had success in the regular season OFTEN. It was top or top 3 going into the playoffs multiple times. This offense and its playmakers numbers were down across the board in the PLAYOFFS. The 49ers knew they could beat us with Garraplo. And they were not worried about us with Purdy. They beat us back to back years with 2 different QBs.

The whole "we should have beat them" is WHY we didn't! Because we THINK we are better than we are! You lost to them last year....ran it back with lesser talent...and lost to them again. That is WHY you have to move on from Moore. It was not working when it mattered most.

Would we have beaten the Giants and advanced to the NFC title game? Absolutely! But the 49ers beat us last year and in response you conduct your offseason HOPING you will not see them the following year? Because you did not do anything to change the outcome in the event you saw them again. And as fate would have, guess what? We saw them again. And we got exactly what we earned!

And for the record. I HOPE the Cowboys front office is not thinking we would have beaten the Eagles as we are currently constructed. The 2 best teams in the NFC this year played yesterday. And if you want to beat either one of them next year. You better not stand pat. Changing the coaching staff is the first step. Changing the roster...via draft, free agency will be the next step. One of the Eagles mid season signings knocked the 49ers QB out of the game yesterday. A guy sitting at home on the couch. Playing a position of NEED for the Cowboys.

The eagles have a significantly better team all around. Nobody came near Hurts for the most part. Their O line also allowed their running game to get open. Their defense destroyed the 49ers qbs.

Howie is a fantastic GM, bottom line. They are in the superbowl and have a top 10 pick. Meanwhile, we let our talent walk for free and have a 5th rounder for Amari.

We struggled with Philly and their backup QB, whereas the year previous, we were destroying Philly and Hurts. That's what a great GM and a great haul in FA does for you. They significantly revamped their team.

We weren't beating Philly.

The running game. That's the reason we weren't balanced all season long. And it's why teams lose in the post season.

Did Jalen Hurts and his elite QB skillset win the game? Hell no and not even close. If Prescott has a stat line of 121 yard on 15/25 and no TDs there would be 25 MORE threads.

No excuses but plenty of facts,,difdnt game not even the same offense for 9ers and who mad mistakes ie Turnovers.. losing pollard, OL didn't pay well at all , Schultz mistakes on last real drive, Gallup not making an effort on the INt., oc only calling 16 run calls.. Diggs could have made two huge pays and did not.,

Moore and many others are gone due to these facts but you cant watch game where the eagles were at home and we were on the road for what the 4th straight game, and we played Purdy all 60mins and they played some street QB and his backup.
