Eagles may have to pay Hurts more than Dak this offseason or Next. His contract is up after 2023 season. I don't think he will play on a 1 year Franchise Tag after getting his team to the Superbowl this year. If he was smart he would try to get a better contract this season no matter what happens in the Superbowl. He has a big pay day on the line.

Disagree. The Eagles suck. Hurts is trash. The referees wanted the Eagles to win. The refs are why the Cowboys are not in the Super Bowl, just like it’s been for the last 25 years.
 
Toughest QBs Eagles faced all year: Dak, Aaron Rodgers (terrible team) and Kurt Cousins.

They will have to beat Mahomes to win the Super Bowl.

Yeah, the Eagles are terrible. They’re in the Super Bowl without beating anybody that is any good. They stink. Hurts is trash. The 49ers are trash. The NFC is trash. Except for the Dallas Cowboys, of course, the Cowboys are the greatest thing since oxygen.

Daniel Jones and Josh Johnson (and no QB for 20 minutes) to get to the Super Bowl. I think the Eagles have a solid team, but has there ever been an easier QB path to the Super Bowl?

Well, probably not, since the Cowboys decided to blow leads to Green Bay and Jacksonville. But Cowboys fans think the Eagles and 49ers are trash. Cowboys fans think the other 31 teams are trash every season.
 
Sorry. I've lost all faith in the alleged "integrity" of so-called "professional sports." When they sold-out to the gamblers, it was all over. Watching the Cowboys in the '70s-'80s-'90s was much more fun. Sadly...once hundreds of millions of dollars were permitted tobe staked on every NFL contest, games were not decided on the field anymore; being scripted in the lairs of professional bookies & gamblers.

Neither of those teams are trash. We have less talent than either. By quite a lot, imo. And we choke away games in the most bizarre ways every year. It’s become our idiom.
 
Purdy was the starter back in November. Why the 49ers didn’t sign another QB to the roster baffles me. Jimmy G wasn’t going to be ready to come back and should have been placed on IR. Purdy being backed up by a journeyman that has been on 12 teams left no margin for the Niners if Purdy goes out.

Or, and I know this won’t be popular, the Eagles were better prepared to win this game than the 49ers were. The Eagles “put in the wrench time”. That’s pretty much what you’re saying, isn’t it?

Sadly, once they stink they’re no longer fun to watch…says every teams’ fan base ever. Gambling keeps sports fair, not the other way around.

I’d say Dak reads defenses as good as a sophomore QB in college. I have seen some HS QB’s read defenses way better than him though
