Which division is good for slow guys?
Awuzie is not slow.
He gave up multiple big completions in 2019 but most of those were problems with how he played the ball (or didn't). Most of them were not about him just getting blown away by speed.
My opinion is based on watching all Cowboys plays multiple times. That starts with the game. Then is review using the DVR. Then I review during the week with the coaches film, then I go back during the season and review some past games to compare to more recent games, then after the season I go back and review both scheme issues and individual players.
I've been doing it since the eighties when the best I had was standard definition broadcast game footage on VCR tapes.
I took the next step when I started attending training camp prior to the 92 season.
Along the way more technology became available. The DVR came out and was terrific in that during commercials I could go back and review the previous series in more detail.
Then video became available on youtube for reviewing other teams and for reviewing college games that I had not recorded on the DVR.
Finally a few years ago the coaches film became available which not only gives the 2 additional views but had all games by all teams readily available.
Awuzie is one of the players that I've reviewed the most with regards to 2019.
I recently did a search to find all 20+ yard receptions allowed by the Cowboys in 2019 on the offensive-right side of the field which is where Awuzie lined up on the vast majority of snaps. I went through and reviewed those plays against both to remind myself of his issues and to review some scheme specific issues with regards to how they used him and how they did or in most cases didn't give him help.
