if it isn't a big name player then you are going to get all types of people whining....the big thing here is that this team has shown a committment to building through the draft and retaining its own talented players first...not overspending on guys that are on the market for a specific reason....

Id love us to find a few mid level FA's where we get the right value but why break the bank for a guy that got cast off from another team because he wasnt worth the juice? We have our big guys in place, need to hit on the draft again, shore up a couple of needs and then get this team to gel and move to the next level....

first off , teams are not built with just the top 22 starters, there needs to be players like price and hayden that can be rotational guys, guys that can play STs and so on..even more so with marinelli they rotate the DTs a lot..so they need guys like this..we cant have pro bowl guys with all 53 players..we had Irving out Price hurt and that guy who retired early last year all left big holes late in the year up the middle and was the reason Lawerence numbers dropped off..we ran out of DTs were grabbing them off Practice squads etc..ripping the FO for this move is ridiculous..as parcells like to say they are always churning the bottom of the roster for key role players..they are important..

Absolutely. Good post . . . we simply need to realistic here -- he's a promising youngster in the developmental stage of his career. His eventual assessment is pending and is yet to be determined at a later date. His career is still in it's infancy.
