I went to high school with him. Had him in a few classes. Was a year younger than me. Good to see he's still sticking around to try and get that pension everyone wants. Had no idea he was still around.

And he really didn't play in the playoffs that much. He was thrown in when Cutler and Orton got hurt in the 2011 NFCG. Maybe a quarter and a half. He came in on a MNF game that season as well.

No way he sticks around to make the team but good for him.

This could be a sign they think Orton is done is trying to play hard ball and get more money (Broaddus was talking about this possibility on Talkin Cowboys today)

I really wish we wouldn't have let go of Tanney last season.

I also think giving Vince Young a call wouldn't be a bad idea if he is still available. He played well for the Packers in preseason last year. He might make a good backup now.

Dallas didn't just let go of Tanney last season. The Browns signed him off of the practice squad. Due to the numerous injuries on the team, Dallas didn't have room to sign Tanney to their own 53 man roster in order to keep him.

Vince Young? He actually did not play well in the pre-season last year. He was not on a roster in either 2012 or 2013. Bad QBs don't get better sitting at home for two straight years. It would be a bad idea.

If i remember correctly, the team was high on him coming out and wanted to sign him as a UDFA but Chicago beat us to the punch

Just another sign Jon Gruden is head coach next year. Didn't he carry 5 QBs one year with Bucs.

Somebody had to say it
