I wouldn’t be surprised. Jeanty might be the best player in the draft. Certainly top 3.

He was one of the guys I thought we might target. HE was gonna be in that $3m a year range....along with guys like Elijah Mitchell (who I would have preferred), Cam Akers, JK Dobbins, Raheem Mostert, Nick Chubb, etc. So it looks like a guy to pair with a rookie. I really, really want us to get a RB in first 3 rounds...and another in Rd 5 or 6. I want Vaughn and Davis gone.

Him and Jeanty will be an elite backfield

I am the first to want Jeanty on the Cowboys, but you have to be realistic. Last season, knowing that they weren't going to get anywhere, that the season was already lost, they made the stupid mistake of winning games just for ego. Because of this, the Cowboys didn't have a top 10 pick in the draft, and the chances of selecting Jeanty were reduced, because possibly the Raiders will select him, and if not, the Bears. The most likely selection could be Omarion Hampton, but for Pick 12 he could be too high. So I see the possibility that they go down a little in the draft and could select Omarion and in the process get some extra picks.

Shouldn’t they have also learned that drafting a RB early does nothing to improve a bad team? Like when they drafted Saquon and made the playoffs 1 time in 6 years
