Not a good look at all. Their approach to RB and backup QB have been epic fails. What's ironic is McFadden is still healthy when the whole world figured he'd be on IR by now.

If his usual career pattern holds true, McFadden usually dips in production, then springs a hamstring. I would not be surprised if he ends up missing games before the end of the year.

I guess it is smart to sign a semi-veteran back, but it is not just chance that it happens to be an ex-Seahawk again. They must believe there is some similarity between blocking schemes or something.

Not doing backflips over the signing. He is younger than I thought. Seems like an average 3 yards and a cloud of dust type. Strong guy who won't amaze but will be a good backup to a star like McFadden. (Haha).

Living close to Cleveland, the Brown's radio hosts were calling this kid a workhorse and said he should have been the starter from day one. However, there's a huge battle going on between the GM & head coach and the GM is demanding that the team play the young kids. The young kids HE drafted. So, Turbin wasn't going to see the field, much to the dismay of the head coach. Not saying he'll do anything here. Just saying he's more than just a 'body' if given the chance. My two cents.

Don't have a problem with this. You can't ask for a better scrap heap pick up halfway through a NFL season. I mean, he's a backup. I can't get my panties in a bunch over that.

The reality is there are no long term RB solutions available at this time. The RB will have to be fixed this offseason.

Funny thing, Romo said he'd rather he line them up on the field and execute than someone run a bad route or mis read the defense on a option route. I think he dresses Sunday..

I wanted him when he came out

Turbin (5’10”, 222lbs) was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 out of Utah State.

Turbin’s 1,517 rushing yards during his final season at Utah State ranked 10th among NCAA Division 1 FBS players.

Playing as a backup to Marshawn Lynch, Turbin ran for 354 yards on 81 carries in his rookie season.

Good. Will need to split carries. We can't have McFadden taking the entire load Sunday when we have a short turn around agianst a stout defense.

Another one of those 3rd round pics everyone seems to think you can grab and be just fine with at the not as important RB position.

I don't quite understand why they would relase him over the foot injury if he was that good ? And, if he's healed why didn't they sign him back ? Any word on the foot ?

What's the difference who we sign at this point? We have the only coaching staff that takes 9 weeks to prepare a guy to play, the season will be over by the time they get around to coaching him.
