Yeah to me Allen would
Be a cheaper Kupp so I’m confused by not looking his way.
You know there's a nugget out there suggesting Kupp turned down more money from us to sign with Seattle right?
As for going forward......IMO they have to decide what are they looking for.
* young A1 WR who can replace Lamb ( likely 1st rounder )
* young 2nd WR with A1 potential ( likely day-1 2nd WR ) via free agent, draft or trade
* Vet day-one 2nd WR via free agency
* Vet day-one 2nd WR via trade
Unless we can draft one of the top 3 guys this year, we may be better off just patching the position and taking another shot 2026.

Take a look at all 32 teams starting and depth chart WRs.........not much for trade.

It’s gonna come down to who’s left. If the best player on the board is a receiver I think it’s the pick honestly.

Yeah I been thinking that for awhile now. It's the only way we get a difference maker at the position.
What we don’t know though is what the Cowboys think of the receivers. I don’t think any of these guys are better than Brian Thomas who was picked in the 20s Jacksonville.

Doesn't mean he'll make the final roster, he can be cut before the season
Why do you even waste your time? I guess someone told Jerry you "have" to spend the money. But try to just spend enough to say that you're spending" Dallas fans won't know the difference.... :facepalm:

Brian Thomas is pretty good too. I dont follow college enough but Golden out of Texas might be nice. It may also be a trade down and see. I do think they need to aggressively get a wr2.

I agree but the Cowboys already have some guys just like him in Jalen Tolbert and Jonathan Mingo. Bringing in a receiver that has some real pedigree like Tyler Lockett or Keenan Allen would make fans feel better going into the draft.

Amari Cooper is possibly still in play. I think his departure might have had more to do with McCarthy than the Jones Boys, but we might never know.
Signing Campbell doesn't stop them from signing or drafting anybody. Campbell just gives them another guy fighting for a roster spot. The locks are Lamb, Turpin, and Mingo. As of today all of the others are fighting for a roster spot and any of them could be cut.
