He tore his ACL in week 8 at 31 and you think he's gonna be ready to open the season ? I don't know about that one. Typically those injuries that player isn't even the same once he comes back it takes time for them to get back to game speed.Diggs tore his knee in October. There is little doubt that he wont be ready to open the season
Then selectively stupid. It is when you’re making these signings in the first week of FA

Mingo, Brooks, Tolbert all may have some competition for that last spot.Uhoh, Mingo better look out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well…..why aren’t the Texans bringing him back? They traded for Kirk…
I’ve looked at some of his highlights, and for whatever reasons, most of them were jet sweeps, screens, and short yardage plays designed to quickly get him the football in space.I find it interesting that Campbell has like 98th percentile speed but has a career YPC of ~9 yards.
He played special teams quite a bit in college, but not much at the NFL level for some reason.Odd signing at this point because we are chock full of WR4-6 type players (I view Turpin as a weapon but more a #4 because of his unique skill set than a #3 that plays almost the entire game). It's starter level players we need. Hopefully no guaranteed money and cuttable. I don't think he plays special teams which makes him not very useful to us at all. If we draft a guy like McMillan at 12 our WR room goes from CeeDee and a bunch of backups to very very strong. But if we only draft a late round guy or bring in a few UDFAs these older guys who are already proven to not be worth much will just take those valuable camp snaps away from them. Just odd.
seriously. whats even the point of this move? we already have bodies.More slop.
There's real WRs out there and we do this.
A change of venue may be all he needs. He oft injured trash.
He may be an example of a receiver that has elite speed but can’t get off press. That said, I haven't watched him much since he was drafted.I’ve looked at some of his highlights, and for whatever reasons, most of them were jet sweeps, screens, and short yardage plays designed to quickly get him the football in space.
The only downfield throws to him I saw were from Matt Ryan in Indianapolis.
It certainly seemed odd to me given his speed.
And that really stood out to me in his highlights. If he’s even, he’s leavin’.
His college highlights made the other players look like they were running in cement.
Not so much at the pro level.
Most of them will make the team. They all are not bums.So is the plan to just sign as many bums as possible that will barely make the team or be cut before the season?
The front office is probably popping bottles of Johnny Walker Blue today.
I think we’re giving our new receivers coach some clay to mold (or not).He may be an example of a receiver that has elite speed but can’t get off press. That said, I haven't watched him much since he was drafted.
Its the ‘throw all your underwear at the wall and see if anything sticks” strategy. So is the plan to just sign as many bums as possible that will barely make the team or be cut before the season?
