Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign WR Parris Campbell

Most of them will make the team. They all are not bums.
Of the remotely impactful signings we have made:

Kenneth Walker is an OK signing, but not a difference maker at all. Kendricks was good here this past season and Murray really has not done very much in his career. I think it's a downgrade.

Robert Jones is essentially a Chuma Edoga replacement. Lateral move.

Parris Campbell has had more than 162 yards in a season ONCE in his career. Total nothing burger.

Sanborn is a fine depth linebacker. Downgrade from what we had in Overshown though.

Kaiir Elam has had a terrible career thus far. Maybe he turns it on, but he is a huge step down from Jourdan Lewis.

Sanders is nearly washed out and Williams has never been anything better than a complementary player, even before his lower body injuries.

Solomon Thomas has been pretty hit or miss the last few seasons, but might be able to make a few plays from the 3-tech position. Not bad at all.

Fowler is a great signing actually. Probably instantly their second best pass rusher.

I just think there is absolutely no way this team will be better than last year if these are the only types of moves they are willing to make. Excuse me, but I am sorry if I cannot hardly stomach more of the status quo from this front office.

That is your opinion. I disagree on a lot of it.

He tore his ACL in week 8 at 31 and you think he's gonna be ready to open the season ? I don't know about that one. Typically those injuries that player isn't even the same once he comes back it takes time for them to get back to game speed.
He has a Rice/Irvin workout mentality. 4 months in.

Yes, you're right. It is an opinion.

Please, do tell us yours rather than just telling all of us we're irrationally negative.

I just don't see a better roster than last year. If anything it is probably the same.
You gave a very thorough and fair assessment of these signees. And I agree that overall we have not upgraded.

We actually have money, and we STILL go and get guys like this. It’s their way/mentality, not a trend…

They cheap to the core. Always looking for the cheapest route instead of looking for the BEST route. Sometimes the best route is the “cheaper” way, sometimes it requires you to spend some money. They need to do things the latter than the former way. Stop always looking to save a buck and look to improve the team (within reason of course)
Yeah, its getting kind of old now. Hearing about the Cowboys actually signing someone, then seeing the name and going - WHO?
Outside of Fowler, never heard of any of these guys, lol.

Very well done.

I think we might've signed Jones to start.

What I mean is let’s say a top player becomes available for trade….would I want to eliminate myself from that in favor of Cooper Kupp? I wouldn’t. And I say that now. There were a few guys I would’ve looked at and they got scooped up. What guy do you have in mind to go sign right now? Seems dry.
They had money all throughout FA…they just don’t know how to (soft) rebuild the team.

There were FAs out there that certainly could’ve helped, but they sit back and pick THESE guys, then turn to us as fans and say “SEE! We DID something. We did the thing yall been ragging us about!” Smh

But hope for a trade doesn’t do it for me. They seem to always get fleeced. But we’ll see, it’s dry bc they allowed it to dry up without much major action

I think it’s premature taking this route. It’s just the beginning. Draft hasn’t hit yet. Let’s see what they do pre draft.
I hear you, but BOY do yall love some “hope” around here. The Jones boys are the biggest dealers of “Hopeium” the foundation of the franchise in recent years has been “hope”

So, yeah, let’s see what they do predraft (rolls eyes)…trying to “hope” that your first few picks all hit and become impact players isn’t a great strategy at all. Signing some proven vets during FA and supplementing them with good draft picks is a proven technique, but the Jones boys are smarter than your average GM!!! (Rolls eyes)

Naw it ain’t hope it’s been 28 years lol. Hope went out a long time ago. But before I knock them I at least let them prove me right first.
