Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign WR Parris Campbell

Oh please. Then stop telling us all to be positive if we provide a reasonable assessment of why we don’t view these signings as amazing, and you won’t tell us why you believe the contrary.
I did not tell anyone to be positive about everything. So a player said he is glad be here. And someone says he is lying, because this team sucks, Jerry sucks. And turns it into a negative. So I ask why do they need to do that.

And you have a meltdown. That is my opinion, you have yours, but yet you feel the need to attack me about it, and can't leave it go.

I’m thinking with what we heard Schotty liking how Shanahan operates his receivers that he’s envisioning Parris in a Deebo Samuel type of role.

That is your opinion. I disagree on a lot of it.
Not shocking considering you seem to think this front office actually wants to win.

What he said is true. They are signing guys just to sign them. It’s to say “hey we tried and look how it turned out” just to go back to doing nothing in free agency. There were players to sign and they went cheap. Again. The guys they signed would all still be there today had the cowboys not signed them.

Just because you sign someone in the first week of FA doesn’t make them a tier 1 or 2 free agent.

Fowler is the best signing they made, and go figure he cost most then the vet minimum they usually spend.

And it is stupid to think they do not want to win.
Sign players just to sign them. That is ridiculous to think that way also.

They lengths some fans go to, to rationalize their dislike for the team they are a fan of.

The WR room is CeeDee and no one else. Mingo and Campbell are awful. Tolbert is okish. Everyone else should not be in the NFL.

If Campbell is the number two or even number three, Jerry is out to tank and sink this coaching staff already.

He must have a grand plan

Ha

Who am I kiddin

Not really. There is a ton of proof that winning is far down their list of wants.

Jerry admitted publicly that he would've been fired from any other org. So, he knows he's doing a bad job. But, insists on doing it anyway. Just how bad does someone want to win when they are employing a GM who is bad, but insists on keeping that GM?

Offhand, I'd say your last sentence is far from indicative of the unhappiness of the fans. Their is a monster of a difference between dislike of how a team is being run as opposed to dislike of the team. And it's not about rationalizing it, the facts and data strongly point toward the FO being extremely incompetent.

We know this part is true. But it does not mean they do not care about winning.
Even they know that winning will bring in more revenue than keeping it status quo. Which in long term will lose revenue.
We just will not, or cannot see the entire scope of it. That will take years and years.

With the way TV and media hands out money to the NFL, and all the businesses out there waiting to get a sponsorship with the NFL and the teams. That is where the money flow comes in more so that just merchandise sales, and tickets.
Games will get sold out regardless.

But Jerry's ego, will not let that fail. He will eventually do what is needed. Right now he is too blinded by his 20 plus years of not addressing the biggest area of need. We all know what that is. We have not had one since. I think his jersey number was that of a beer. Or is that the other way around.
