Cowboys signed OT Demetress Bell

Cowboys signed OT Demetress Bell, formerly of the Eagles.

ESPN Dallas reported this was coming two days ago. Bell, 29, possesses the athletic skill set to be an NFL starter, but struggled mightily in Philadelphia last year. Appearing in nine games with five starts, Bell graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 78 tackle among 80 qualifiers, ahead of only Cardinals turnstile LT D'Anthony Batiste and Chargers UDFA Mike Harris. Ideally, Bill Callahan will coach up Bell's talent into a viable swing tackle.
