If one of these guys can make it into the top 4 then we can start talking about a fast group.
I'll let ya'll guys go by pure 40 times and call it "fast " guys ... while I'll key on if these guys that are " field fast "
- playing faster on the actually playing field..than what the 40 times suggest and compete.

Game speed is different. Lamb, while awesome, is certainly not a burner.

Last year, our WR group was sooooooo slow. Gallup moves like a grandpa....still think we are among the slowest group in the league and you can make a tweet like this for every team.

Turpin is a burnder, but playing 2 snaps a game isn't gonna do much. Would love to see him get more time.

And some people wonder why Dak struggled in 2022 with an oft-injured Oline and slow WRs who led the NFL in worst separation distance average.
Hold up. So you will give Dak a pass but not Micah for going up against Trent Williams. If you're going to come down on Cowboys players. Dak also plays for the Cowboys.

So, one fast guy, three same old mediocre speed guys and one gadget guy they can't figure out how to use?

Micah fell off at the end of the season. He has never played a 17 game season primarily at DE. This season he has bulked up so I will reserve my judgement until after this season. If he underperforms in the second half again I will gladly condemn him.

You condmened Dak WHILE making excuses for his performance blaming the OL (which I agree with BTW) but dont do the same for Parsons. Thats all I am trying to point out here my man. I think we both want this team to succeed so I dont see the point in us arguing but I am saying be the same with all players. No excuses. Thats all bro

Also the speed changes when fully padded. Just because they ran 4.3 in shorts don’t mean game time padded up speed is the same. But it helps. They need that burst coming out of the cuts. Or a double move. Cooper was good at the double move and torching people.

Hold up. You're comparing single player performance 1vs1 against player performance that is directly affected by those performances around that particular player. How is that an even fair comparison? It's not. Bringing up the Oline's poor performamce is not an "excuse". It's a FACT. The Oline's poor performance affected the whole Offense: FACT. Micah's performance was not affected by his teammates' performances around him. Micah was on the outside of the D-line going 1 vs 1, man-o y man-o against Trent Williams, and Micah Parsons lost. Nobody else's performance around Micah even came close to affecting Micah's solo performance against Trent Williams. THAT is the difference that you are wrongfully trying to evenly compare to Dak.

Dak also missed some throws when he had time. When his WR was 1 on 1. Didnt think I needed to explain that since you said you condemed him for his performance. And if you think DE play isnt greatly affected by DL play I dont know what to tell you. The biggest difference is Parsons was against the best LT in the game today. Dak was against the best D in the game at that time. Either way. Everyone on this team needs to step up. Coaching included.

I am still mind boggled they threw the ball (Daks first pick) in the red-zone at 2nd at 2. Situational football coaching is going to be a huge factor. Conversely. Why Quinn didnt move Micah around and have him blitz from the middle or against the RT (who he demolished) makes no sense either. I know Micah didnt show up on the stat sheet but he did live in the backfield in that game. I actually re watched it last night. Parsons wasnt the issue in that game. Id probably blame Diggs (if I am going to blame anyone on the defense).

Which 1 on 1 WR throw did Dak miss? Plus, Micah being 1 vs 1 on the edge against Trent Williams is not affected by the rest if his fellow teammates. It would be a different story if Micah was lined up inside, but at the edge position, you are strictly 1 vs 1...and it's up to you to get past that O-Tackle.

Agreed how our coordinators on both sides badly affected the game at times.

Gallup for the second INT. Didnt see a wide open TD either. But it doesnt matter. That game sucked. LOL

but that is also true of CBs. so everyone runs without pads. then pads come up. so size in this case matters. bigger WRs may not lose as much speed, compared to Turpin who is 160.
