This could not be stressed enough.

Night and day difference
Cooks seems to have really sticky hands. The ball touches them and it stops.
He's going to be so much more reliable than brown, while offering bigger play opportunity because of his speed.

Jerry Rice was drafted where he was because of his slow 40 time. I seem to remember he had a pretty good NFL career.
Michael Irvin was not a burner either,
You look at the top 10 WRs all time as regards yards and TDs and how many of them were burners?

This was another area where Moore failed us; really good OC's scheme to get WRs open. Work at ways for them to get separation.

I know what I posted. You’re bringing up his interceptions lol. It’s irrelevant. Is Cooks an upgrade over Brown yes or no? You can’t be serious lol.
Thread is about WR speed. I simply said all this speed is irrelevant if we’re giving the ball away at the same rate we did last year. Do you agree or disagree? You cant be serious lol.

Sure. Won’t mean a thing if Parsons gets hurt. Won’t meant a thing if Zach Martin doesn’t stop holding out. Sure we can go down a whole list of “won’t mean a thing” lol.

Femi Fehoko is a bit of an enigma. Even though he is blessed with top-end speed and great physical size, he just doesn't seem to be much of a factor at WR.

And, Turbin, despite his success as a return specialist, he doesn't offer much in the passing game and, I suspect he could be replaced by Vaughn.

Just a thought that one or both of these could be on the outside looking in

Neither of the god awful picks tossed against the 49ers were intended for Noah Brown. We’ll see.
One was on Gallup ( partly on Dak too should have pulled at hit Zeke on the flat) and the 2nd was bad design , still shouldn’t have thrown

but that is also true of CBs. so everyone runs without pads. then pads come up. so size in this case matters. bigger WRs may not lose as much speed, compared to Turpin who is 160.
Yep and Turpin is on my poo list. He had a TD on a return and turned and cut right into the kicker or tackler. If he cuts outside like all the others do then it’s 6.. Didnt he have a couple of TD returns in the preseason that got him the job. And Deuce looks tiny out there
