Jaylon had better stats.

Not really of the relevant stats especially when you consider that Jaylon plays the position that means that by default he leads the team in tackles. Tackles and sacks are not how good GMs judge players. You look at a pass rush win rate and compare it to the double team rate, and then analyze what is done on running plays and that is how you judge a front 7 player (also coverage if they are LB).
