Yes, the 2nd link has Lawerence and Shultz listed as questionable to start the season yet you didn’t list Lawerence. Why?

Don't the PUP guys have to miss 6 games? (Hill & Golston my assumption) Then IR (to return) is 3 games.

Questionable means just that. Uncertain.

However, the more time between the status and the actual game time, the higher the probability that questionable turns into "probable" which is still uncertain, but with more confidence they will play.

Most of you all know this, I'm just saying I wouldn't put a lot of credence to their status at this particular point in time.

Just to make you ask dumb questions...

The comment in that link was a reference to when DLaw was on the PUP.

He is now off the PUP. He was listed as Did Not Play in the Gamebook. Players on PUP don't show up in the Gamebook.

It is 6 weeks before returning if on PUP.

Before Covid it was 8 weeks before returning to play a game if on IR-Return-Eligible.

I've lost track of the rules changes since Covid.

I can see some of these guys going on IR. Does it make sense to bring Chauncy Golston back. Why not put him on IR and see what he has next year. He hasn't played at all. How do they cut or keep him and cut someone else?

It doesn't have to be that drastic. He can remain on PUP and come back whenever we choose (week six the earliest). He can train for three weeks without before being added to the 53 man roster.
