All in all, a very clean preseason of injuries.

The only real concern is Dak's health early on. Otherwise, the Cowboys escaped preseason games without a major loss.

Assuming, of course, that that they don't play any starters in the last game. Shame in them if they do.

I can see some of these guys going on IR. Does it make sense to bring Chauncy Golston back. Why not put him on IR and see what he has next year. He hasn't played at all. How do they cut or keep him and cut someone else?

They don't need to put him on IR.

Players on PUP don't count against the 53 and can return after week 6.

Players on IR with return eligible status do count against the initial 53 man roster. They can then be moved to IR the next day and another player can be re-signed.
- They've cut and then resigned players like Special Teams Ace Goodwin to allow them to keep another player and then move that player to IR.
