Cowboys still the Team to Beat

Inspite of the loss to the Hawks' the Cowboys are still a team to respect and have cleaned up those things observed in the Giants game. It's interesting, because as sloppy as the Cowboys Played in the Giants Game -- resulted in a win that you probably should have lost. Retrospectively, a much cleaner Cowboys game against the Hawks' resulted in a loss that should have been a win.

I didn't want you to win this game against Seattle, but it was a win-able game that the COwboys let slip away. However, you still looked impressive enough for me to give you respect. No flames from me Cowboy fans. The NFCE is a tough place to live, but the best place in the NFL!

i think you've been here too long! hahahaha

we're not the team to beat. not yet. you guys do not look as imposing as last year, though.

That's not true! The Cowboys are the team to beat ...but then, so are the Giants, and the Commanders!;)

I was in Hickam about a month and a half ago on a weekend mission. I spent a lot of money, lol.

One thing good about that is whenever I go back to Hickam, I Know exactly where to go to get the greatest bang ) not literally) for my buck. Places where you can subsidize your spending and have money left over when you leave the State. There's an all you can eat sea food restaurant (and you know Hawaii has some delicious sea foods), on Kapiolani Boulevard that has incredible food for only $15.00 per person -- you name it ...it's there. But you have to be able to find it. Most tourist and others who aren't aware usually stick with places in Waikiki or Honolulu (big mistake ...dollars and cents wise).

I wouldnt live there though, too secluded from anything else.....

I lived in Pearl City and Aeia Hawaii (about 2 miles from the "Yard"), for about 4-years. I drove an all White Corvette; T-top (smoked glass), 1978 (not to be mistaken for the Silver and Black anniversary pace car version, but just as sweet). I travelled from Hasickam AFB to Kaneohi Marine Barracks (located in the mountains) at least twice a week for college classes. I know the Island ...and yes, it can become very small within no time at all.

But I'll never forget the experiences -- there's nothing like it if one can afford to live there. Being in the military (the Air Force will defray the cost of living), it's affordable.

Never stop Aiming High!:)

It's good to see some fellow Air Force guys around the site. Talon, I knew you were in the Air Force, but it's good to see some others, too.

I'm in Public Affairs and am currently deployed to Iraq. The time difference is kinda crazy, but I and a few others, stayed up till 2:30 a.m. watching the Cowboys play Sunday.

There were a few other Cowboys fans who stayed for the game, and when Seattle hit the kick to win, everyone just got up without talking, left and went back to their tent to get some shut eye.

But as soon as I get back home, I gotta get ready cause we’re PCSing to Guam for three years. I’m really looking forward to that assignment.

Yeah, I can relate.

That's some serious dedication! Time is not the only thing that's crazy over there -- what your _ _ _! Remember, if they're on your on the right and your left, and from the front and and from the rear, ...then you have them exactly where you want them! Don't trust anyone but your inner-circle, and oh yeah, return safely!

I flew to Guam from Hawaii for a Personal Affairs inspection (Casualty files, awards and Decorations, etc). While I was there, Guam experienced a typhoon (they have there share of those things). We had to stay there a few extra days (totally boring compared to Hawaii). But Guam is in close enough vicinity to Hawaii, and the Phillipines to make it tolerable. You'll enjoy it there.

Even an Eagles fan On a COwboys MB can be grateful for the service you guys are providing over in Iraq ...thanks man!:)

To me, the season is a collection of games that hopefully are all meaningful. If you get eliminated early the final games don't have the same meaning. The Playoffs just extend the fun. Only after you win it all are you the team to beat. But as long as you have some chance, the games are exciting. This has been a great season in terms of entertaining games.
