Gallup wasn’t our #1 guy, he was a rookie in 2018 when we traded for Cooper. Prior to the Cooper trade Deonte Thompson and Allen Hurns were our top WRs that we signed in free agency. Both were awful which is why we traded for Cooper.

Jerry and Stephen really aren’t good at this. Also didn’t help that Coop criticized the golden child Dak.

This is why he is gone. Jerry has no qualms overpaying for mediocre results. Cooper would have been no different than any other overpaid part-time player on this team if he had just kept his mouth shut.
