I been looking at prices this week. Yesterday they were still up there, but had dropped a little since Tuesday. Today, wow, my old seats, which are a $375 face value ($340 when I had them), was still $700 Friday. Today they are at $190.

My friend and I been talking about going. He said he would go for $250, as he wants to see Joe Burrow play.
However parking is still at $100 in lot 11. The Lyft / Uber pick up is a bit of a walk for me.

My old seats, were in section 313, row 1. There are some row 8 seats available for $135 each. I like this section, because I can't sit up in the upper levels, even though less money. Same for lot 11, it is convenient for me for a short walk.

Will check the prices later on. We can get there an be in the seats within 30 minutes, that is pushing it, but done it before.
They have been falling as the game gets closer. In fact, in many cases they are already selling below face value.

They have dropped 25 percent in the last 30 minutes alone.

Yes. That’s true. But it would be VERY embarrassing for Jerry’s ego if the stadium is filled with visiting team fans.

What do you mean? He encourages it....his dream is for everyone in the world to visit at least once....it's more about showing off that *$@$^(* stadium and The Star, then it is about winning another Lombardi.

Yeah, but it’s not his dream for visiting teams fans to drown out Cowboys fans at the game. It’s on the horizon.

The problem is that he's already made his money on the tickets. No matter how few people show up to the game, the game is already "sold out" because of idiots like me who keep paying in advance for season tickets every year.
You are not the idiot. You love your favorite team. Jerry Jones is the idiot.

I was addressing the long-held assumption of fans, who have a deep seated resentment against fellow fans, who do buy team tickets and merchandise. Their message has always been go cold turkey (even though they never completely sever themselves from all revenue streams like being counted in Neilsen ratings).

The economic strategy is to hurt Jones, which, in turn, will coerce him into taking expected action--like finally hiring a general manager. This particular scenario is not exactly what they wanted but it is the closest they have ever gotten during Jones' death grip GM reign.

What's worse is that stadium is a piece of ****, it's one of the worst football environments I've been to and I've been to games at 26 NFL stadiums.

Ticket holders are now bag holders. Jones already made his money.

You’d think at some point even the most diehard fans will care less. This year we needed a few pieces to be a real contender. Instead the Jones boys got rid of talent. Even for them it was very bad team management.

I shouldn’t hate those two, but I think I’m close. I’ve randomly found myself cussing them and their stupid moves out in my head. I may be losing it.

That is insane pricing. I wouldn't even spend 10% of that to see what Jerry has put on the field the past 26 years.

Jerry, as all other owners already made their money. Unless the stadium is older, and the PSL's are no longer in place.
The last 3 years at Texas Stadium, I just purchased the tickets for the season, so PSL's or agreements. I just paid for the tickets the next season if I wanted them, my offer expired by a certain date.
Now these were in the upper section, so the lower levels not so sure. But when I was choosing what seats to buy, the lower section levels were to pricy as a friend of mine, we split them. So decided on the upper level cheaper option.

As for an empty stadium, there will always be fans wanting to go rather Dallas fans or the opposing team. As as the prices fall, they will be bought, especially by those that can't afford or do not want tp pay the higher prices. So the stadium will be close to full for a long time. The season ticket holder loses not Jerry.
Eventually that may not happen, but it will take years of horrible records to get people not to care even to pay the lower prices.

What it will take is for the season ticket holders to say, the heck with it, not pay their PSL's, if the still owe on them. And not to buy their allotted tickets for the season.
and give up on their investment into the PSL's. Write it off as a bad stock investment. However, then they may be in fear of bad credit repercussions. If the team decided to go that route.

Then the tickets with no PSL owner reverts back to Jerry, and they go on sale to the public. Then when they do not sell at face value, because fans will not pay the full price at that point is when it hits Jerry in the pocket book.

I had season tickets the last 3 years at Texas Stadium, and from AT&T stadium until the 2016 season. Sold the PSL's. Never regretted it for a second.
I split them with a friend until 2011, until he had some financial crises, he had to back out. I sold many games as I worked out of state off and on, made my money back and them some. And was still able to get to 1 or 2 games as well.

I understand what you are saying now though.

Cowboys ticket prices are about 1/2 to 1/3 of the prices they were selling for just one week ago. If this isn’t a great indicator of how Cowboys fans are feeling about the Cowboys, nothing is.

If we stink it up again today, I am expecting that much additional decrease next week. Keep in mind that Jerry hosed season ticket holders with a huge ticket price increase this offseason.

I don’t think that is sitting well with many Cowboys season ticket holders, but not many options available as they have a PSL and are obligated to buy tickets.

As I said in a previous thread, this could get very ugly in a hurry. I think you are going to start to see Cowboys fans vocalizing their frustration more than ever.
I agree, people were still simmering over the SF loss.
After last weeks disaster, fans are at the tipping point.
Personally I would put up with 0 and 17 if it meant a real GM.
This team is never going to have post season success with Jerry at the helm.

I think it's entirely possible that Jerry Jones could bankrupt the Cowboys franchise because of the way he has thumbed his nose at the long time fans.
Fantasy football, sales pitches, hype- followed up by incompetence has sickened true fans of the real Cowboys, and they are fed up.
Jerry has grossly underestimated how much true fans loved this franchise, and how much they despise the circus he's turned it into.
a
I think that you know that is not going to happen. Every year the value of the franchise increases and is always one of if not the most valuable sports franchises in the world.
They have plenty of wiggle room and it's not close to a financial crisis no matter how much we wish it would be for changes.
The only change MIGHT be if Jerry dies or has a mental or physical condition that makes them remove him from the operation of the Cowboys.

This franchise will continue to make money, will continue to get some of the best TV ratings when they play and continue to have enough fans.

Doesn't the stadium usually sell out, or close to it? If so, then selling out at say $300, rather than say $700 would seem to hurt Jerry's wallet quite a bit.

Awright, Awright, Awright..........there is something different about this year about how fans are feeling towards the dimwitted duo and getting their attention. Putting their money where their mouth is. That is why its gotten the Cryptkeeper's undivided attention. Even the media can't ignore it this time.

That may be true....but if no butts in the seat, no paid parking and no concessions or merchandise sold. So indirectly it does affect other things not just tickets.
