Ok....sit back a take a drag off your favorite smoke and think for sec. "IF" Dallas finds a way. they would have...Gordon,Williams and McFadden.

Now......To soften the Blow of Murray to 'No Rings" think of Murray Dunbar and the Underwear "bandit". I'll take the former in a heartbeat.

looks good now...don't it?

I'm against spending a first on a rb unless that rb is Gordon, then I'm all for it

Leonard Williams, DT, 6-5, 302, 4.97, Jr, Southern Cal: Strong, athletic and passionate, the Trojans' star is earning comparisons to everyone from Houston Texans' defensive end J.J. Watt to Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy for his ability to dominate the line of scrimmage while alternating between defensive tackle and defensive end. He's too quick for guards and too strong for tackles, wreaking havoc along the line of scrimmage against the run and pass.

Danny Shelton, DT, 6-2, 339, 5.64, Sr, Washington: Broad-shouldered, powerful and surprisingly passionate in pursuit, Shelton is a classic two-gap run defender with the gaudy statistics to catch the attention of scouts. He has flashed first-round talent throughout his career but played at a different level as a senior, boosting his stock considerably. Shelton was nearly unstoppable during Senior Bowl practices, cementing his top 10 status.

Eddie Goldman, DT, 6-4, 336, 5.28, Jr, Florida State: Teams are willing to gamble on difference-makers along the defensive line almost as much as they are quarterbacks, and no defensive tackle captured the imagination of scouts more than the massive Goldman this season. Goldman is broad, powerful and surprisingly athletic, having stood at defensive end in 2013 before making the switch back inside as a junior.

Malcom Brown, DT, 6-2, 319, 5.05, Jr, Texas: Much quicker than his well-proportioned frame would indicate, Brown proved a relative bright spot in 2014 for the Longhorns, earning consensus All-American honors with 72 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Though Brown is leaving Austin as just a junior, the NFL may be impressed with his maturity, as he's married with two children.

I was a big Gordon fan headed into the offseason.

Now I'm just not sure.. I watch him play and all I see is a guy taking exactly what the defense gives.

He doesn't really juke anyone or finish runs with power. His running in traffic is very meh.

Its still early but I think I want a CB that drops at 27, Ajayi in the second and a DE with some pass rush ability in the 3rd.

I don't see Gordon falling to 27 and there's no way we trade up for a RB. I would prefer we trade down into the 2nd and grab either Ajayi or Coleman.

I'd like to use the first for a DT. The way it sits right now, our secondary doesn't stand a chance until we can get some pressure on the QB.

I'm glad they are looking at a rookie RB to bring in. We are a run first team on offense, so you absolutely need to have a stud running behind that line to keep the concept going.

For anyone that has watched Gordon play (because I don't know much outside of highlights), how effective is he in short yardage and fighting through being "stood up"? I keep thinking about how good Murray was at pounding out 3rd and short yardage with impressive efficiency (either through power, juke or diving under the scrum). That played a critical role to sustaining our drives.

Kevin Johnson, Wake Forest says hello.

I think Kevin Johnson is definitely in play at 27. If I was a betting man I would say Johnson, one of the top HB's will be our first. I dont think they go DT in the first because 1 Techs dont have that value according to Marinelli. A DE maybe if they fall in love with Smith or Owa
