Cowboys to interview Orr

Yuck, Baltimore defense was just as bad as ours lol. I have a few buddies who are Ravens fans. They are happy he is gone.

He is from Mike Macdonald coaching tree though and supposidly, runs an aggressive defense.

Great!

The guy that helped to get John Harbaugh fired.

His kicker and QB takes THAT dubious
honor. Orr did ok considering the cast of characters he had. Still, not my first choice for DC.

I think Zach Orr needs more time to learn the coaching game. He should probably go and try to get a college DC job and then jump back into the pro's. He could end up being a good coach. He just needs more seasoning right now. I'm not willing for him to learn on the job as the Cowboys DC.

Yeah, my thoughts too. He might turn out to be a good one, but I think he got this DC job before he was ready, and that inexperience is a big reason for the season they had.

At least they are talking to several candidates.

Usually they fixate on one guy, make a joke of the Rooney Rule, and hire who they wanted all along.

A guy coming from position coach is going to get Stephens vote because they won’t command high dollars. That much we know.

Seems like many prefer new blood anyway so that may work in our favor for a change.

Those two are too easily sold on football speak though. They become dazzled when someone somehow seems to know more than them.

The Ravens coach they foolishly let slip by is the guy running the Seahawks right now.
