just read it on kffl.com.

Interestingly, nationalfootballpost.com has Burnett in Round 1 now (top 32 pick).

I thought his production was really good. And he did well in his pro day as well.

Not sure where he ranks vs. Allen in terms of skill set.

as an aside, i'd rather have mccourtney instead of ghee, though ghee's pro day numbers were really good. (top choice is wilson, of course, at cb position)

Forgive me if I sound ignorant, but what positions do they play?

there both very good, but I think because of Allens strong senior season and Burnetts sub par Jr year (compared to what he did as a sophomore) have people wanting Allen a little more.

I had a dream a long time ago that we were going to draft Ghee. Of course, that same dream also told me I was going to win 18 million dollars and that hasn't happened yet...so.......

I like Burnett, ballhawk

I think they're looking at Burnett because he's projected to go right around where we have that 2nd pick.

I would be all over Burnett in Round 2. I always love players who are punished for setting the bar too ridiculously high earlier in their careers and not following up on it the next year, as though Ed Reed consistently gets 9 INTs every year. I think he's better than Allen and definitely provides much better value in the 2nd round than Earl Thomas provides in the 1st.

you either reach for him in the 1st, or trade back and get him, not at 59.

That's my concern with Nate Allen and Burnett.
