Thank You my Brother and Thanks for your service to our great Nation. I'm all better now, time and GOD really does heal all wounds. Just saying it isn't as easy as yelling man up and move on. If someone would have given me an award
I would accept it with as much grace, humility and Gratitude I could muster up. I like when my football or any sport heroes are honored for bearing this thing called life.
Peace and tranquility to you Sir in your quieter days
Life can be hard and is for a lot of people.
And we don't know what people are dealing with.
Then, to have your mistakes magnified to a television audience of millions and to endure the subsequent mocking, jeering and criticism from millions more.
And not retaliate?
Believe me, not all of my students love me, and it stings to read my evaluations even though other students love me.
But I'm of a strong constitution.
Some people aren't and get far more criticism than I get.
That's Dak.
I may have my opinions of him as a quarterback.
But his teammates voted him this award. And they see him way more than we do.
P.S., thanks for sharing your story. I love reading about people and their stories.
It makes me think twice before I feel like treating people like jackbehinds.
