Meanwhile back at the ranch.
Meanwhile back at the ranch.
But team sources tell CowboysSI.com that part of the construction of the deal, when executed, will give Dallas about $16 million in 2022 cap relief.
Hey, that might be enough to retain Randy Gregory.
Pass rushers dont grow on trees!
Cowboys!
Like it or not it's not that surprising if a move. Just hope that by the end the cap is grows high enough that the charge isn't that large of a percentage of cap if they have to move on from him.
I really hope they don’t waste that much money on Schultz. He’s cool and all, but not gonna be worth the high-end TE salary. There are a handful of really solid TE prospects that we can draft in the middle rounds and they could contribute year 1Technically that still leaves you 5 million over the cap. Once they likely cut Cooper, Jarwin, Greg, and Brown though they should have a little money to work with. If they tag Schultz though which supposedly they will if they cannot come to a deal that will eat up almost all of it (except what you need to sign draft picks).
Yay, more dak. Get ready for perennial wildcard losses for the foreseeable future.
Why would any businessman do that? If anything the nfl learned from the nba what not to do. That luxury tax idea has cost the nba billions.Nfl should addopt a luxury tax idea like the nba that allows you to go over the cap to resign your own players if you want. Not my money but it pretty safe to say that the Cowboys can afford to pay the tax bill to go over. Don’t abuse it though
Kick that can!
(He's presently scheduled for "zero'' salary in the final year of his contract, when he's 33. This move will change that.)
‘Change that’. As in add even more to the $13.2 million they will already be paying in 2025 to not even have him under contract.
The team just digs those holes deeper and deeper.

The tax goes back into the nba and is divided among the league. It help funds the wnbaWhy would any businessman do that? If anything the nfl learned from the nba what not to do. That luxury tax idea has cost the nba billions.
