Would you rather have Showers as the backup to Dak who competed 46% of his passes in preseason with 3 turnovers or the QB we signed the other day that none of us have ever heard of? Give Sanchez a running game and he can be managed provided our D isn't as bad as it looks like it might be. It's pick your poison with backup QBs they all have issues.

TBF, Sanchez is as good or better than any vet backup we've signed since Kitna. But it's buttfumble boy. This is almost as bad as signing Ryan Leaf. Don't need the Cowboys name attached to any more ignominious football names.
