This is fake news... a total lie. No way did the Cowboys spend that kind of money. We all know how Jerry and Stephen are tight with their money. They dont spend any money at all. I read it in here from all of the "Experts," on what we should be doing to get to the SB.

Just tank, get a top 10 pick, draft a qb and pow, SB here we come.

75M is all of the 260M+spent?

No. The poster mentioned 18mil.
That's was the cap hit.

I wasn't the poster they quoted. Simply posting the amount of cash Dak took home.

I’m not sure why you are so heck bent on trying to disprove a guy who looked at all the financials, researched them and then was on Twitter and The Ticket detailing them. It’s bizarre. The numbers were not false

Almost the entire thing was Dak
Cash paid that year to various players:

$75 million for Dak (contract year)
$20 million for Amari Cooper
$17 million for Demarcus Lawrence
$11 million for Zack Martin
$10.5 million for Tyron Smith
$9.6 million for Zeke
$8.1 million for La'el Collins

I guess the NFLPA is lying

2021-2023

I looked hard, but could not find the 2020 data, so we’ll have to do without. Again the NFLPA provides the data for 2021, 2022, 2023. The data for all three years is summarized in the table below.

The Cowboys, like it or not, have spent less cash on their team over the last decade than almost any other NFL team. They ranked 25th in cash spend from 2013-2016, 32nd from 2016-2019, and 30th from 2021-2023. That’s as clear a pattern as you’re going to get.

Same conclusion from weeks back

And exactly why does this matter, its 2024 not 2021.
