As a lifelong Texas A&M fan I watched Michael in college and he's a power back with a hint of speed. He can truck over people and has some agility to make people miss in the open field. Not sure how he does against the blitz though. He will be our short yardage back.

For a 7th rounder, why not? He was a 2nd round pick just a couple years ago. Solid move imo. He's shown some flashes. He'll never be great importance, but he gives us something to work with that has a higher ceiling than any of our current backs.

Not necessarily. They were going to release him anyway if no trade could be made. Besides its not like they gave us Eric Dickerson.
