TRADED Cowboys trade for George Pickens and 2027 6th for 2026 3rd and 2027 5th

Anybody not happy with this trade has no idea what this case capable he is a chunk play super star - I don’t think anybody makes more chunk plays than he does.
He’s dynamite along the sidelines - this is Alvin Harper.

This might be the best trade we’ll make since Herschel Walker.

Or

The worst since Joe Galloway.

Yall gonna learn eventually that QBs matter most.

The injury probe 3-5 guy ain’t it.
If I start the thread so you can get the praise you so desperately desire, will you make a positive post?

It doesn’t need to be about Dak. It can be about what you had for breakfast this morning.

With the Cowboys, Pickens has a great opportunity to re-establish his career in the best way possible. He'll be welcomed to a team that needs his help desperately. Let's hope he makes the most of it. He can either become a hero or a villain in the Dallas scheme of things. His future will be at stake.

The truth of the matter is that he has everything to gain and everything to lose if he fails to respect the welcome that he's likely to receive. This offense can get a big boost if his response is a positive one. I fully expect that Dak will give him all the support that he'd like to see. Good things are likely to occur.
Glass half full.
Gotta like your perspective on life.

ESPN NFL analyst @PSchrags on the #Cowboys trading for George Pickens:

“I’ve talked to the Steelers folks. George Pickens is demonstrative on the field, but he is not an un-coachable player. In fact he does have a great way about him in the locker room and is very well liked in Pittsburgh.”

As every day goes by, I absolutely love this head coach.

Schottenheimer is a tough dude and not just a tough talker. You can tell a phony tough guy a mile away and he’s not that guy. His father was a tough SOB.

Our fanbase is never happy
Build the run defense to the point where you can actually stop it, THEN add your shiny skill players and I’ll do backflips for you.

Maybe some consistency between what you SAY you’re going to do and what you ACTUALLY do days later? I dunno.

Run the ball? Change the culture? Then add a malcontent WR one year rental.

I’m onboard.

Pickens is a very talented receiver.

He has maturity issues which are undeniable though which have to be managed and could blow up in the teams face.

All that said, Pickens greatly improves the receiver group and gives Dak two legit bookends.

Hed a 1k receiver in an offense that has had horrendous quarterbacking.

This type of talent is NEVER available for a 3rd if not for warts. Yes he has warts. But he also has All Pro talent. Id trade a 3rd for an imperfect human all world talent everyday.
not to mention when has tomlin ever made it work with a receiver lol. maybe it’s him? if nothing else dallas tends to make the wr work historically

I'm curious which Pickens Dallas will get.

The immature kid or the talented player.

Because make no mistake, he was traded for what he does on the field.

It's the other stuff.

Low risk high reward. What on earth can happen that it doesn’t end well? You let him go and get a comp pick? There’s no risk.
3rd, 5th and 6th is low risk? This is a team that refuses to build in FA and they keep giving away picks.

They really going to pay this guy or is it a one-year rental and they are hoping to get a 4th round comp pick back?

You’re banking on Dak being bad and Daniel’s to not have a sophomore slump like nearly every other qb….good luck.
I wouldn't be surprised if Daniels does have a bit of a sophomore slump.

But if Dak isn't vastly better than he was last year before he got hurt, we're in deep, deep trouble no matter what talent we have at WR.
