TRADED Cowboys trade for Joe Milton

Watch him what? He’s not with the Dallas Cowboys to play in games. Seven on seven drills and pre-season games are meaningless. Dak’s leg would have to fall off before Milton sees time in a regular season game. And if Dak were to get injured Dallas would quickly sign an experienced QB to take over. Exactly what they tried to do before picking up Milton.

Kellen Mond will start a game for the Cowboys before Joe Milton ever does.
Grier is QB2. 8(

They might have cap after the draft to pickup a decent QB2.

Or draft one.

3rd string on the Chargers is hardly proof of him being "wanted"

What's so hard to admit that the guys a bust?

Ryan Leaf did the same failure tour and Jerry was one of the fools that couldn't figure it out even then. History repeats itself with this owner
It's proof that you were wrong.

That's possible, but I don't think it's far-fetched to think that they got him with hopes that he can develop at least into the primary backup. That doesn't mean it will happen, but I would think that that's the hope.

I think they have no plan for Grier to be QB2. If Milton cannot win the QB2 job, they will bring in another QB. They could still even draft one late or bring in a UDFA to compete for a spot.

Any scenario where Grier is their best option for the No. 2 job, though, will likely end with Dallas bringing in a vet. There will be some vets cut or on the trading block depending on the development of other teams' young backups.

You said the 49ers traded Lance because he was a distraction to Purdy.
That was their reasoning.

Teams don’t like to keep guys behind their QB that cause drama.

Look throughout NFL and stop being so hypefocused on Dallas.

How many QBs behind Brady got traded who were having success?

Teams don’t like having to deal with fans and media pressuring them to change QBs. Duh.

You make no sense.
