What an idiotic thing to say. Maybe you should go back to ExtremeSkins where comments like that are considered insightful.
Maybe people around here should just calm down a little bit. The guy gave our triplets the edge over a group that has put up huge numbers. Of course, I'll go with our guys as well, but to take offense because a Commander fan gave us 'the edge' is pathetic. He didn't have to post at all, so if anything, we should give him credit for open-minded and honest (more than I can say for some around here- "Bledsoe is better than Elway" ring any bells?) The constant troll-hunting that goes on here is beyond tiresome and not a little pathetic.

This is not a debate. Its a fact. The Boys triplets were far better. They had to play against physical defenses during a time when the refs basically let the players play. They had to play the early 90's NFC East. (5 Superbowls in 6 years, I know who got three of them) Thats the Giants, Skins, and Eagles....twice a year with very tough defenses (I don't count the Cards). Anyways, the Colts offense were unstoppable AFTER the refs started to enforce the no contact after 5 yards rule. The 3 teams they gotta play twice a year, the Texans (#1 pick in this years draft), the Titans (#3 pick in this years draft) and the only team that gives them a ride for thier money in thier division but still lose, the Jaguars. Again, NO COMPARISON!!!

Harrison IMO ranks in the top 10 all time receivers, QUOTE]

I don't agree at all. He's not even a #1 WR. Without Wayne, he'd get more attention and get locked down. Imagine Harrison trying to play the #1 WR position against tough DBs with the OLD contact rules. He'd get beat up.
Steve Smith, Santana Moss, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, and Chad Jackson I'd rank as better than Harrison right now and that's without adding great WRs from the past. Harrison...maybe top 50 all time.

Yes part of the 'total package' definitely entails being able to deliver in the clutch against top defenses, winning playoff games, and carrying a team on your shoulders.....Manning falls very short in every category.

I laugh at the people who think he's a better passer than Bledsoe or some of the other all time great gunslingers. Don't get me wrong manning is outstanding with the 'dink and dunk'...midrange type of passes. He has also had tremendous success with the play action game. But that is history now that James went to arizona.

His record without the Edge is horrible, and people are going to find out this season that he's nothing more than the true definition of a 'stat' QB as the colts begin to decline.

I do agree that it will be interesting to see how Peyton Manning holds up without a top RB for the first time in his career after having Marshall Faulk to take the load off of him when he was a rookie, and then Edgerrin James every other year.

It's pretty obvious that you need more than just 3 great skill position players to start a team. Not that I don't think our's were superior, but the Cowboy's dynasty was a result of great GMing, great drafting, that resulted in awesome talent at every postion. If not for Jay Novachek, Daryll Johnston, Charles Haley, Erik Williams, Nate Newton, Mark Tuinei, Mark Stepnoski, Russell Maryland, Thomas Everett, Deion Sanders, Tony Tolbert, Jim Jeffcoat, Larry Allen, Leon Lett, Darren Woodson, Ken Norton, and Ray Donaldson the Dallas triplets probably wouldn't have as much as a superbowl.

Of course if Indy drafts Lawrency Maroney or DeAngelo Williams, like they are likely to do, I think Peyton will actually get an upgraded running game.

Like I said in the first post, I would even take the 1995 Lions offense over those Colts. If there was ever a game between the Colt's trio and the Lions, Barry Sanders would run circles around that Colts defense.
