Just got a notification from the NFL app on my phone that states "The Cowboys have not only emerged as the front-runner in the Jamal Adams trade sweepstakes, but they're willing to part ways with a heap of draft picks."

Eek!!!

I really really really really want a good safety but I hope they don't give away the farm.
Agreed. Not high on losing draft picks but the up side could be pretty immediate and noticeable for our back end defense.

The Cowboys are among the teams the New York Jets have reached out to regarding safety Jamal Adams, according to multiple sources. The Cowboys have had discussions about their second mammoth trade in two years, with Amari Cooper from the Oakland Raiders the first. Adams, who went to high school in Carrollton, Texas, would be another boost to the defense with the other trade acquisitions Robert Quinn and Michael Bennett, but would come at a much steeper price.

As much as I’d love to have him I don’t see Dallas giving up the picks. This will probably go as a swing and a miss. JMO

I really think all of you who think we only should be willing to pay a late first-round pick for a young, Pro Bowl player who was drafted with the sixth overall pick are not very realistic in your expectations.

If they're wanting on OL + first rounder, who would you be willing to include? Williams? I know he's not everyone's favorite, but that's still a lot to give up. If we gave up Filo and a first rounder, I'd be OK with that. But Williams would make the trade more questionable, unless they're already confident McGovern is better.

Realistically he'll probably be Dak's back-up in a year or two.

Jerry has a things for red heads.
That will be Wentz once the eagles finally realize he's all bark and no bite......but it took them awhile to realize chip Kelly was a fluke too.
