Some here wanted Philips over Parsons. Still waiting for them to admit they were wrong but it wont happen.

Super interesting to me. I wonder how much of that coverage was in deep zone vs. spy or being responsible for the flats.

I am a believer that (for right now) Parsons is more effective the closer he is to the LOS, and there are diminishing returns the farther away he gets.

Consideing our recent previous mid round DEs were the likes of Joe Jackson, Dorrance Armstrong (who started just now showing signs), Charles Tapper, Ryan Russell, etc., I didn't have high expectations. But I noticed Golston a ton yesterday. He was close to the qb constantly, considering how little practice time he's had that's a great sign

Golston was drafter higher than any of those. They are fourth- and fifth-rounders. Third-rounders need to at least be solid contributors.

Yeah. That one seems kind of strange. He's either been at fullback or tight end, but I guess it's good that he's at least blocking well from those spots.
