Tony Romo Receives 3 New Citations After OWI Arrest; His Team Makes Statement

I thought of opening a bar, with chauffeur service to and from
But I just got too old,
But I still think it’s a great idea
It’s so much different than just calling an Uber, when you’re ready to leave if you had too many
where you can change your mind, if you get the ride to the bar, you most likely won’t be close to your car
Once Tesla FSD is unsupervised, I was thinking of buying a bar.

On Aug. 27, he was given citations related to his July arrest for first-offense operating while intoxicated, unsafe passing on the right side and possessing open intoxicants in his vehicle.

In an Aug. 27 statement sent to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a spokesperson for Romo's team said, “Tony accepts full responsibility for his actions and has taken proactive steps to ensure that this isolated civil matter is properly resolved. We are working with local authorities to bring this matter to a close and we are communicating with CBS about next steps.”

Just listen to this....Operating while intoxicated...*** does this mean? What is the legal limit? Sorry...people can drink and get behind the wheel. That's not a crime. Quit trying to demonize people.

Unsafe passing on the right side of the road.....Who witnessed this? A flock camera? Talk about a total invasion of someone's privacy

And possessing an open intoxicant in his vehicle.....Who says he doesn't collect cans to keep the streets clean? Tony totally looks like a guy that would go out of his way to keep this world looking clean and respectful.

Sorry...this totally looks like a witch hunt. Sure seems like that's what the main stream media does anymore to make news....Instead of just reporting. Sounds like to me Tony has a case vs the media labeling him as a thug.

He will be back next year
You guys are making way more out of this than reality
Its not the crime, its that Romo isnt the commodity as an analyst CBS thought he would be, and they could be using this as an out. Other networks would be interested, but definitely not on an A team and definitely not for what he is making now

yep it seems like police and media went overboard on this one.
But regardless he is a tv personality, and TV likes their people squeaky clean so.......

Diehhardblues, you go out of your way to crucify Romo on this. You try and doing it on the down low but it's clear you don't like him. You have been doing it in both threads.

I like Romo and the games he announces.
There are no "reports" that CBS wants to move on from Romo. However, if they do, their loss, he will move onto another network or just retire and do something with golf. Good for him.

Those minis you refer to and state they are used by drinkers or people with problems are commonly sold at golf courses and drink carts. You make it sound like he drives around with those all the time. Probably left over from his grouping. Dumb? Probably but I've kept the extras before myself for the next time I golfed.

For the rest of you, keep casting your zero tolerance stones. I have zero tolerance for people that ride their high horses on the Internet. Let's shine some light on your perfect lives and discuss your flaws in detail.

Romo messed up, mistakes made, no one was hurt. Let's let him learn from his mistakes and move on. He was a great Cowboy while here and still someone I appreciate as a sports broadcaster. I wish him luck with learning and moving on from this.

You sound like you could use a break chief.

Well said. Every takes the moral high ground until they or someone they love makes the same mistake.

We don't know what Tony's BAC was, yet.

I'm not a Zero Tolerance guy for drinking.

My parents were social drinkers, and drove responsibly and no DUIs.

Tony so rich he could have driver 24/7....but i will miss him doing color in games....he was one of the best
I actually don't need color commentary in the games. I'd be fine with just a good announcer.

I don't know how some of you survive going to a game, without color commentary being dished out ! ! !

4/10 ragebait
If I wanted to amp up the rating I would have discussed all the passive income he makes off that small fortune.

I would have mentioned that even a conservative 7% interest on 80 million a year equates to a passive additional income of roughly 5.6 million a year.

Therefore I wont mention it.
